The Crisis Center is an active collaborator in our community, working with others whose mission aligns with ours to bring improvements to our region and better the lives of those who live and work here.

United Way
We are an integral part of United Way of Grayson County’s community wellness program, helping ensure that all families secure basic needs. We earn the privilege of receiving United Way dollars during every funding cycle, when our programs, services, administration, and operations are scrutinized and approved. We work with United Way to inform donors, access community needs and contribute to the common good.

Business
The Crisis Center is a member of the Sherman, Denison and Pottsboro Chambers of Commerce.

Leadership
The Crisis Center Executive Director is on the Criminal Justice Advisory Committee at the Texoma Council of Governments.

Civic Organizations
Crisis Center staff and volunteers are active in local civic organizations, providing information about our mission and advocating for our cause, as well as supporting others with important needs. We make presentations, participate in community projects and serve as leaders when possible.
